Miguel Bustamante (Canada, 1994) is a self-taught artist based in Vancouver, BC.

Miguel Bustamante, known as MigyB, is a self-taught artist based out of Vancouver who grew up between Richmond and Lima, Peru. Coming from an incredibly artistic family, he was surrounded and inspired by various types of art as a kid, but only started painting a handful of months before the pandemic hit. Painting began as a way to get closer to his family, but quickly blossomed into him finding his true calling as an artist.

His work is guided by life itself rather than honing in on one single style. His styles vary from realistic portraits to abstract expressionism keeping himself out of a box working primarily in the acrylic medium. His new solo art exhibition ‘The Ecstatic Beauty‘  will be on display one night only on April 20th, 2024. Tickets on sale March 20th, 2024. 
You can expect every collection to be limited & tackle different styles that stem from one main thing: experiences worth painting about that evoke a feeling.
