We were given the task to pick a location in the world where we lived at some point in our lives and create a promotional poster for that place. Since I’m from Peru and have my whole family still living there, I naturally decided to choose Peru. I wanted to create a simple poster that had a few striking iconic things about Peru on the poster. my inspiration included Bauhaus posters, David Klein’s travel posters and King Krule’s 2013 album ‘6 Feet Beneath The Moon.’ I wanted the iconic characteristics of Peru to look like a collage unravelling over a simple backdrop that resembled the feeling of Peru which are deserts, and sandy beaches.
