City Soundcheck was a music blog that I created, which gained some traction in Vancouver as a source for new music and local artists notably emerging from Vancouver. I landed an exclusive interview with Vancouver rapper Terell Safadi who has performed at festivals across the city and most recently at the Canucks home game at halftime for Black History Month. I directed, produced and handled the post-production for this episode. It was hosted by Ian Cromwell who is a notable figure in the local music scene in Vancouver with help from Kevin Parker of Project AM Films. The interview series was initially supposed to run for more episodes, but between various events including covid it’s currently on a hiatus. It will come back soon in a new format.
